The studio runs regular medal examination days as
these exams are an ideal opportunity for dancers to gain an
assessment into how their dancing is progressing.
There are two categories of medal exams,
one specifically aimed at the social class student and
the other for the more serious dancer who pursues private
or individual lessons. The medal examination days are open
for all students’ parents, family and friends to come along
and watch the students dance for their particular awards
giving the opportunity for the dancer to showcase how they
have progressed in their dancing.
The Toongabbie Dance Centre holds regular medal examination
days a year on these days studio competitions are also
included to give medalists the opportunity to trial competition
before going to the expense of competing in the weekly dance competitions.
MEDAL EXAMINATION DAYS FOR 2010 ARE SATURDAY 19TH JUNE AND
SATURDAY 18TH DECEMBER.
with Presentation Nights on Sunday 20th June and Sunday 19th December
which will feature demonstrations of Ballroom, Latin, Theatrical and Hip Hop styles.
