Theatrical Dance Classes
All students will be trained in all aspects of the dance style
and prepared for examinations that are conducted throughout
the year at the studio. The examinations are compulsory for all
students in all styles they participate in.
This is an important component of learning and a
great aid to the teacher allowing them to take the
pupils to the next level.
The dress code for all students is:
Girls: black shorts or ¾ length black tights, Studio black singlet top,
Boys: black shorts, black socks, Studio black singlet top.
(studio singlet tops are available for purchase from the studio)
Shoes: black jazz shoes, jazz sneakers, black tap shoes, as appropriate.
Hair to be tied up neatly.
No jackets or jumpers are to be worn during class.
Studio Jackets are available for purchase from the studio,
for students to wear to and from classes.
Parents are always welcome to watch their children in class
at the studio. We rely on parents to know their own child.
Sometimes a child learns much better if their parent is not present.
If this is the case with your child the teacher will request that
you leave the hall during your child’s class to ensure that they
may learn to the best of their capacity.
